The next morning we got up and went to see the sunrise at Borobudur. It was beautiful to see and hear the surrounding communities and area come to life as the sun came up.
We really enjoyed the day!

Indonesia Adventure #1
We left Singapore the next morning and headed to Indonesia to meet my parents in Jogjakarta. They met us at the airport and we went to bed early because we were definitely dealing with jet lag.
The next morning we got up and went to see the sunrise at Borobudur. It was beautiful to see and hear the surrounding communities and area come to life as the sun came up.
My sister in law has commented that my husband and i are really great at taking our own pictures, so, i tired to be more intentional about having someone else take pictures of us. This one didn't totally turn out. =)
Under every stoupa is a Buddha. most of them had been beheaded at some point and reconstruction shows some of their neck "wounds."
