A New Year

Updates from the rest of the trip will come soon, I had trouble uploading pictures and gave up today.

We are discussing our travel plans for the next year and i'm still thinking through what i would like to see happen this year.

Some of our travel plans and hopes include:
-J to LA for an amazing bachelor weekend with old deep friends
-C & J to LA for wedding in May
-C & J to Oakland more than once to meet and support the parents of a new Eliassen baby boy (due around May 27)
-C & J Breckenridge for another wedding
-C to Seattle for girl time
-possibly C to Portland for friend time
-possibly C & J to Lawrence, KS for another wedding

Some of my other hopes for the year include:
-reading more books than i did last year
-maybe run some races with my big sister (maybe!)  =)
-get a job
-help make and/or get a batch of homemade brew from my brother

The director at my internship site said something awesome recently about making plans. plus or minus "We make plans for the upcoming year. then we get back to work and follow what we see happening in front of us. At the end of the year, sometimes the intial things we had planned have happened, and sometimes we have gone in other directions."
To me, it is about following the leading that the spirit provides.
