Singapore Day #1

We arrived home yesterday from a wonderful trip to Asia.  Two things struck me: i experienced some culture shock coming back into the US (being able to understand English allowed me to realize how rude people were being-maybe it was post-Christmas blues!?!?), and it is significantly colder here in Denver! Brrrrr! I got out and shoveled our sidewalk today before the whole thing became ice.

But back to Asia! We spent our first day in Singapore and it was great to see Toby's face awaiting us at the airport. After a cup of Starbucks and some dance time with the girls we went and saw the Singapore Flyer. It was a simple adventure for our jet lagged bodies and was a delight to be with our nieces and Jenn.

We found these cutouts around the grounds and had fun taking our pictures in them!

There also was a life size snow globe! Jenn, Elyse and Anastasia crawled in to check it out.
The next morning we headed on to Indonesia and spent about a week with my parents! more pictures to come!
