we went to Canon City for a couple nights over spring break. we really needed to get out of town and deeply enjoyed our time together. I love being with my husband, it's just that simple.
Canon City is one location where major railroads, back in the day, fought over territory.
And, we went and visited Bishop's Castle. which was crazy and awesome! Many have written articles and posted other pictures about this man and his creation in the forest. we actually got to meet Jim Bishop (cause he doesn't actually live there.) While totally eccentric, i also thought the castle was really beautiful in a very unique way.
If you are ever near Pueblo or Canon City, i would recommend the extra trip out to see the castle.
Though the break was great, the semester swung back into action and my plan for practicing rest got put to the side. sigh.
This too shall pass.
