Control & Creating

Kairos time. Real time. (versus Chronos time). God's time...In kairos we are completely unselfconscious, and yet paradoxically far more real then we can ever be when we are constantly checking our watches....The saint in contemplation, lost (discovered) to self in the mind of God is in kairos. The artist at work is in kairos...In kairos we become what we are called to be as human beings, co-creators with God, touching on the wonder of creation.

If we are to be aware of life while we are living it, we must have the courage to relinquish our hard-earned control of ourselves. Because our reflexes have been conditioned...this is never easy. But reflexes can be unlearned, or reconditioned.     ~Madeleine L'Engle
I often lose (discover) myself when i am gardening. i see it happen too with J when he is writing music, painting or taking pictures. touching on a part of the wonder of creation.

I also desire control in my life.  i have worked hard for it, and it is HARD to relinquish this control. I continue on the road to relinquish my control and recondition my responses to life (God).
