I've got a place to live. Check.
I have started school. Check.
I've basically learned the bus system. check.
I can find the grocery store, library and post office. check.
The newest addition to this list:
I have a job at Starbucks! check. two days under my belt and many more lattes to go.
The things that aren't settled yet include:
-finding a church to call home
-finding a counselor to call home
-taking care of my car which has gotten me into some trouble lately....flat tires, towing fees, parking costs, etc.
Moving takes a lot of work. I'll be honest and say i sorta wish i would have moved and given myself some more time to settle in. But really, it might not have changed much. I'm ready for the transitioning to end and the familiar to happen regularly. I saw a guy walking downtown the other day that i knew! Then i noticed that something was different about the space needle the other day....I'm getting there. but not yet.
