Updates:
-I'm thrilled to be 29 in about two weeks. who cares about 28, when you could be 29?
-I have a new, semi-permanent address. let me know if you need it.
-I'm living with three other women, in this crazy older house. It's real quirky.
-I painted my room two shades of blue. I have never been able to paint something of my own, in my adult life. In Africa it was pink, in college it was white, i have lived in other peoples spaces a lot. But now, i got to paint, and i like it. Blue.
-My hair is short, growing out, and I'm tired of it. ready for the shag to become the bob, which will become the ponytail. it will be fine, i just need to get more creative with the shag.
-I already have in mind two pruning ideas for the yard. a rose bush that needs some help and the ivy that is even taking over the sidewalk out side out house. I'm forcing myself to do homework before i get a treat like going outside to prune.
-I'm dragging my feet to apply at Starbucks.....i know the hassle of coffee retail, and am really mystified by Nick's passion for the company. I do not bring the same passion back with the desire of a re engagement of my partner number.
-I'm loving being at a school that works really hard to keep things applicable to the student. And i love that we can swear in class. Sometimes there is just no better word.
-Last, but definitely not least, I'm dating a great guy from Denver. We worked together at BBBS, and, I'll admit i crushed on him for a LONG time before we hooked up. And now, we laugh a lot together and are trying to do long distance well.

you and that "great guy from denver" is still my most favorite thing that happened this summer! oh, and you moving to seattle is definitely a close second :) so glad we can see each other all the time!!!
