Sweet Moments

Let me tell you, there are plenty of moments from the past 6 months when I've doubted my skills.
But there are also really sweet moments in my days.

Today, i got a huge hug from one of my kids in the hall and she couldn't wait until the next time we hang out and then she blew me a kiss. That's never happened to me before!

And one of my kids who doesn't really like talking about the hard stuff going in her life, she asked if she could see me everyday.

One kid, when i was asking a class about what they wanted to be when they grow up, said he wants to be a good man when he grows up.

I went out for recess a couple weeks ago to "observe" someone and a whole pack of other kids came over and wanted to talk to me, hug me, sit by me and show me all their skills. I loved it.

I'm also learning and improving my sponge bob dance, push ups, football throwing skills and if I am not too distracted can play a decent game of Connect 4.
