newness

we don't have internet at home yet, so my time on line has been limited, so here's a brief update:

• our time in the mountains was amazing. AMAZING.
• my husband is a treat. i'm still in wonder. i'm married. and to a creative, funny, tender man. i'm so lucky.
• my summer intensive class is over. thankful for that. today i never want to take another class in my life. mostly just cause the rub of grad school has gotten to me. i'm weary of the cost, real and personal.
• we are settling in to our home. i'm thankful. we had our parents over for dinner last night. it was amazing.
• mom and dad leave this weekend. i'm sad. i act tough and strong, or maybe just distant and aloof, but i do love having them here. alot.
• i have a new niece! she was born a week after our wedding and i'm so proud of my brother and his wife for being caring , fun, amazing paretns.
• we leave for SA in about a month and half. looking forward to it. a lot.
