Snow Shovels

Supposedly Denver is a snowy mountain land. But if you live here, you know better.
We get more sun than most places, and a brown dry Christmas is not uncommon.
This year has been a little different. November was a warm month, glorious for walking to work, and even growing plants. December and January on the other hand, have been full of blizzards, snow days and freezing temperatures. There is STILL snow on the ground from our first blizzard before Christmas! (this is NOT normal for Denver.)
Snow Shovel Stories
#1. I actually own a snow shovel, and live in a house that needs the sidewalk shoveled. I am proud to take care of my responsibilities and my neighbors by clearing my walk.

#2. My favorite news story was about a hardware store getting in a last minute, much needed, order of snow shovels. People were standing in line, and when finally able to purchase said snow shovels, some people were buying five or more! What does anyone do with FIVE snow shovels?!?!

#3. Jason, (the neighbor next door who offered to help if we ever needed anything) is now borrowing OUR snow shovel to clear his walk. I love it!
