I just completed my hopeful deed of the day.
i spread LOTS of seeds along a hillside that needs some love.
it's not my property, but i see it regularly, and i figure the city won't mind if a little color sprouts up alongside the highway.
It's the view right outside of Joshua Station, and everyone there could use a little more love in their lives and a little less weeds.
so.
Marigolds. spread about a bucketful of them.
California poppies. one seed packet will do if even one of those beautiful buggers takes seed.
Hollyhocks. don't have any idea idea how they will do amongst the weeds.
and
Larkspur. Mom, i almost emptied the film canister that was full! Come on Brighton lovin!
I hope some seeds will come up.
Really.

Your hopeful deed of the day sounds delightful! What a great thing to plant seeds of hope - figuratively, or in your case, literally!
You're wonderful, Claire!
