I've been trying to work all day long. to be a good student, to start and finish my paper before it becomes super late and super unproductive.....but, alas, here i sit. distracted, unmotivated. ugh.
so, an update can distract me for a little while longer.....
this guy was on our front porch just a couple days ago....
probably a foot long. can you see him sticking his tongue out at me!?!?

and then today was this beautiful morning!
church was canceled, and so i went out to shovel the snow for a little.
in other news: I'm finding things to like at my new school. this makes life better.
i LOVE popcorn. love it.
i LOVE candles. received some excellent ones for my birthday (thanks Jenn and Emily!) and i am enjoying them!
i might become a shift supervisor at work! maybe.
life with J is a delight. i never want to leave his house when we are together. i never want him to leave when he's helping me study at my house. May is not going to be here too soon.
I'm thankful for the beauty and changes of Colorado.
I'm ready to be done with school. settled down a little and done with the craziness of paper writing, reading, work, commuting, research, etc. i love the learning, i even love most of the reading, don't get me wrong. but i have fallen off the face of the planet in some regards....sigh. and I'm ready for that fullness of time and not enough people connection to be different. some prof said strive for C's and have a life. I'm trying to work this out.
i still need a haircut and haven't had time to even schedule one.
i guess that brings me back to the task at hand. the paper. oh sigh.
