school

it is the pre-finals week crunch time and I'm sorta, basically, checked out. i mean, i love grad school. i really love being at MHGS and am so thankful for this debt-increasing opportunity to learn. (well, a little concerned about the debt, but mostly grateful to learn and read and discuss and all this school stuff.) i can't imagine going to any other school.

which reminds me that i was going to post some random links about MHGS stuff.....
MHGS Video What If No. 1 a beautiful video that highlights the passions of school
MHGS Video What If No. 2 a amazing picture of the school, some of my professors, the area around school and peoples faces. check, check, check it.
MHGS Article about MHGS and Mars Hill Church (Seattle) Even i was confused about the two Mars Hills in Seattle....this article helps clarify a little. They aren't the same.
Podcast Interview with Dan Allender about Leadership I promise Dan doesn't sound so electronic in person, but i feel this is an audio of Dan in his playful, truth-speaking glory. i admit i only listened to some of it....

so, back to finals time....i have major papers to write. research to do. and i just wanna curl up and rest. it is a tricky thing, this thing we do, life. packed full of more and more. and yet, when do we rest? when do we take time to be with community? when do i feast well in order to be prepared for the daily grind?
its the hard work of Friday, before Resurrection Sunday. living in the already, but not yet. heaven is here, and it is not yet.
