Unacceptable

Sometimes i say things and really get myself in trouble.

Wound:
-noun
1. an injury or hurt to feelings, sensibilities, reputation, etc.
2. a casualty to military personnel resulting from combat
3. a figurative injury (to your feelings or pride)
4. the act of inflicting a wound

5. to inflict a wound upon; injure; hurt.
6. hurt the feelings of

Hurt:
–verb
1. to cause bodily injury to; injure

2. to damage or decrease the efficiency of (a material object) by striking, rough use, improper care, etc.
3. to affect adversely; harm: to hurt one's reputation
4. to cause mental pain to; offend or grieve
5. to feel or suffer bodily or mental pain or distress

–noun
6. a blow that inflicts a wound; bodily injury or the cause of such injury.
7. the cause of mental pain or offense, as an insult.


I wounded a friend recently and I didn't mean to. In fact, maybe i even hurt two friends, separately, which makes me feel terrible. sick to the stomach. pain of an internal sort.

And, now that i know, how can i repair, build up and encourage? How can i honor with my words, rather than tear down? How do i save rather than destroy? How do i think before i speak?
